Helping people move off the streetsone step at a time.

Daytona Streets provides the practical, immediate resources people need to survive today while working toward employment, income, and permanent housing.

Our goal is not to make homelessness easier. Our goal is to make leaving homelessness more achievable.

Our Mission

Dignity, opportunity, and the chance to rebuild.

Daytona Streets believes that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and the chance to rebuild. We provide basic necessities to individuals living on the streets of Daytona Beach while they work toward securing employment, stable income, and permanent housing.

We are not here to make homelessness comfortable.

We are here to remove the barriers that keep people trapped in homelessness—one at a time, one person at a time.

What We Provide

Simple resources. Immediate impact.

Assistance is provided as funding and donated supplies allow. Every item is offered with dignity, and in service of the next step forward.

Emergency Food

Ready-to-eat meals, snacks, and bottled water for people living outside.

Hygiene Kits

Soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, and feminine hygiene products.

Weather-Appropriate Clothing

Clean clothing, socks, underwear, jackets, rain gear, blankets, and seasonal necessities.

Bus Passes

Transportation to job interviews, employment, medical appointments, social services, and housing.

Emergency Lodging

Single-night motel stays during emergencies or dangerous weather, as funding permits.

Other Basic Needs

Backpacks, sleeping bags, tents, work boots, phone chargers, ID replacement, laundry.

Why These Items Matter

Homelessness is a cycle of barriers. We remove them one at a time.

  • 01

It's difficult to get a job without clean clothes.

  • 02

It's difficult to keep a job without transportation.

  • 03

It's difficult to rent an apartment without income.

Someone living outside may already have the desire to work, the skills, and the motivation. What they often lack are the basic tools most employers expect: a shower, clean clothes, a way to get to an interview, a safe place to sleep before their first day of work.

Community Funded Since 2003

100% of what we do begins with a neighbor who cared enough to give.

Every meal served, every hygiene kit distributed, every bus pass provided, every emergency motel stay—made possible by individuals, churches, civic organizations, businesses, and community partners.
